Antonella has been in the culinary art, food and wellness field for the past 25 years, providing culinary education and lifestyle changing for healthier living.
Private Italian Chef, Culinary Instructor, Consultant and Speaker, she is the founder of COOKITA NYC, an informal not-for-profit  initiative aimed to promote food and health. She has blended Authentic Italian Cuisine with the Science of  Nutrition, transforming its traditional dishes with healthier preparation without compromising taste. Her mission is inspire, educate and create awareness about the importance of the real food and its impact in supporting sustainable health and wellness.

Food. Flavor, Nutrition and Health. The focus is on these four important dots, not weight. My passion is translating the Science of Nutrition into delicious dishes and healthy food choices. My mission is to help you to make a conscious healthier choices and begin an healthy lifestyle teaching you how to do. A guidance to making positive, lasting changes in your life.

Eating is necessary but cooking is an art.  I created an action plan program to help you to start the journey to optimal health and better lifestyle. For anyone who love shops, cooks and eats and want to improve and maintain their health. Practical information, culinary education, and especially awareness. It is very important to eat what you love and love what you eat. Taste and health can joyfully co-exist.

The Italy-America Chamber of Commerce and Extraordinary Italian Taste are proud to present, “Ladies of the Vine,” a luncheon, wine tasting, and panel discussion to be held Friday, June 10 during Wine and Food Week in the Woodlands (which begins today, Monday, June 6).

Last week the Extraordinary Italian Taste campaign and the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Texas were the proud underwriters and co-presenters of a series of tastings and seminars held in conjunction with the annual Wine and Food Week festival in the posh Woodlands, a posh master-planned community north of Houston.
Financed by the Italy’s Ministry of the Economic Development and the Ministry of Agriculture, the mission of the Extraordinary Italian Taste campaign is that of promoting authentic Italian food in the United States.

Eating and losing weight with Gusto!

The menu that Chef Antonella prepared for us was as rich as her last name, that as you may know, means “rich” in English. The most impressive dish, for a guy coming form Apulia Region like me, was the Fava Beans purée with Octopus. The combination of these two traditional southern dishes was so delicate and tasteful, they wonderfully blended together into a richly mixture flavor that impressed to the point that, together with most of the guests, had a seconds!

They truly enhanced the evening, not only through the delicious healthy food and service they provided, but also with their attentiveness and flexibility throughout the night. They diligently prepared and served the exquisite meal independently, which allowed all guests (including the hosts) to truly enjoy the special occasion with zero added stress!
